Japanese Maid Cafe June 2012

Japanese Maids Cafe Event Postponed
Due to a problem with the venue we have unfortunately been forced to postpone our planned event on Sunday 2nd September.

Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience involved for all those that have pre-booked tickets or that had planned to visit us on the day. We will be contacting all of the people who bought tickets to offer refunds or the opportunity to attend when we have details of our new date and also our new venue.

Meanwhile, if you have any queries regarding the Japanese Maids Cafe, then please email us at greenteas.london@gmail.com

Once again, we are very sorry for the short notice and we will post up further details when we have them.

What is a Japanese Maid Cafe?

Maid Cafes are popular establishments in Japan where the staff, dressed in maid costumes,  treat the customers as you would as masters and mistresses in a private home.

As well as taking orders and serving food, our maids will play games with the customers and give dance performances. This includes routines to “Kyary Pamyu Pamyu” songs & Dance, plus “Romantic Ukare Mode” and “Seikan Hikou” dance routines. Our Japanese Maids are also professionally trained performers who also sing, dance and play piano for entertainment at the special events.

The Maids will also play popular party games with the customers including Pop-Up Pirate, Jyan-Ken (Rock-Paper-Scissors), Jenga, Connect4 (each game £2 per person).

If you win get a tasty Japanese treat which is hand-decorated by the Maids. But if you lose you will have to apologise to the Maids – in Japanese! (don’t worry, the Maids will help you with the right words!).

As an extra treat, the Maids can also take a hand-decorated Polaroid photo of you with the maids for you to take away as a souvenir! (£5 per photo).

The tasty meals will be prepared on the premises by a qualified Japanese chef. The meals will include a choice of Temaki Sushi, Chicken Katsu Curry, Japanese Mushroom Spaghetti and Omu-Rice. Each meal also comes with a choice of starter and a choice of dessert.

The Maid Café will also feature anime visuals from a range of popular anime series and films as a colourful backdrop for your meal.

Menu
All our meals are freshly prepared by a Japanese chef on the day. You have a choice of 4 different tasty meals (along with optional choices for starter and desert).

Please note that drinks are not included in the meal prices.
